To mark its 25th anniversary this year, L’Auberge de Sedona in Sedona, AZ, had more than just a simple celebration in mind. The resort, located in Arizona’s Red Rock country, embarked on a $25 million renovation and expansion project that included the addition of several different types new private luxury cottages.

Kim Harley, founder and president of KHI Design, based in Redondo Beach, CA, was given the task of renovating the existing cottages and designing the new ones. “Ultimately, the goal was to bring the level of luxury at the property up a notch,” she explained.
